As requested; Laraine, Steve and Jack all arrived safely in Nakatsu, and were duly fed and watered before being put to bed somewhat jet-lagged, but content. Tomorrow sees the first outing for their newly purchased Yukata, which should raise (at the very least) eyebrows at the Gion festival. Friday, July 28, 2006.

Sorry for another week with nothing - we've been mental busy here. Em's folks have been here (as you can tell from the previous post) and we spent half the week in Nagasaki, which I reckon is the best place we've been to so far in Japan. That, and we went to Nakatsu's Gion festival, duly clad in traditional dress (see the flickr set - Chaahming). Of pools and rain.

Cup of tea anyone? So how old are you? Well I want to say 7 but I know thats not right so I'm going to say 12. Friday, April 20, 2007. So injuries from the past 14 weeks. Bruised ribs - more than once. Concussion - with amnesia. Friction burn on chin - from snow! Deep bruise on thigh - from jumping the snowmobile.
