Currently in Dakar, Senegal. Monday, December 5, 2011. Let the packing begin. Aside from the packing there is quite a bit to think of. We need to make sure we empty our local bank accounts, ensure the gas in the car is no higher than 1/4 tank. The huge job is making sure our belongings are all in our inventory with replacement prices and year of purchase as well as supervising the wrapping and packing of all our effects. Fishing in the Mayan Riviera. One of the days while the girls went snorkelling the boys went deep se fishing. Apparently not everyone kept the contents of their stomaches in their bodies but it would seem they all had a great time. They caught a 45lb Mahi Mahi and then had a great lunch! Currently in Dakar, Senegal. Tuesday, July 26, 2011. We have an area off the kitchen that has high cement walls and is completely closed in and tiled. Last time I spoke about it was with regards to the cockroaches that came out of the sewage drain in there and were trying to get out of there and into the house to survive the toxic fumes from the exterminator. In the meantime Juliette had Declan up to a window watching the poor thing who by now was exhausted. The loooong way down and closed in area.

We were in line for 45 minutes trying to get gas for the car after visiting two stations that had none. 2 There are bugs in the pools. Currently in Dakar, Senegal. Sunday, March 27, 2011. Ross took me out for birthday brunch to one of the hotels in Dakar that does an all you can eat seafood buffet appetizers with a main course and all you can eat desert. I have NEVER eaten so much seafood in my life. The food was fantastic but the choice was just incredible. Here are just a few of the things we sampled. Mussels the size of my hand. Desert was good. Nothing to write home about ;). Location: Dakar Region, Senegal.
