Monday, March 24, 2014. Our Gender Reveal Party. My big sister, Claire, wanted to have a Gender Reveal party for us. I'll admit, it's not really my cup of tea. I've never been a real big baby person and I don't like showers and what not. It's the attention. It stresses me out. But, the Main Squeeze and I have a decent size family so we agreed. And I'm so glad we did! I made most of the graphics with her valuable input and also made the scratch off name reveals. Newborn Vincent and stank-face me.

Thursday, September 11, 2014. Finding peace in the wires. On July 8th, I went into pre-term labor with our first child. Mila Elizabeth was born at 36 weeks at 2am. She had dark, beautiful black hair and a strong set of lungs. She looked perfect. But she wasn't. We found out around 31 weeks that her bowels were dilated and not working properly. They were sure she would have to have surgery and they were right. At 5pm on the 8th she was taken into surgery. But also had what is called apple peel deformity.

I haven't lived in a 2 story house in over 10 years, so when we bought our new home one of the first things I thought was, "um, I am NOT going upstairs everytime Mila needs a new diaper! Anyway, I went to Ikea with my sister and the Main Squeeze and saw this pretty thing. And knew exactly what I was going to use it for! Huge shout out to my sister - this puppy was not easy to put together but she dug down deep and did it ;). Other diaper/baby supplies and a changing pad.

Monday, August 26, 2013. Liz aaron} columbia, sc engagement photographer. I've known Liz since middle school, so when she asked to meet up about doing her wedding photos, I was super excited! I knew their engagement would be memoriable. I just didn't expect what we would be doing - -. Aaron is awesome. He got permission for us to shoot in Papa Jazz. 5 Points Custom Tattoo. Each place is important to the couple - their love for music and tattoos, and the location of their first date. It was pretty awesome!
