Through the Lens: Vaccine post on BB
http://kfan-tx.blogspot.com/2007/07/vaccine-post-on-bb.html
Thursday, July 26, 2007. Vaccine post on BB. It may prevent cervical cancer. It can't hurt" in most cases to be on the safe side. The vaccine may not yet be water-tight; there might still be some risk in using the inoculation. Some believe it invades parental/familial privacy rights. Arguments that hold no water:. Girls who get the vaccine are going to be more promiscuous. Just because cervical cancer can have correlation to sexual activity does not automatically imply that this will occur. I think these...

http://texasstrength.blogspot.com/2007/07/texas-high-school-steroid-testing.html
Thursday, July 19, 2007. Texas High School Steroid Testing. Last month, Texas signed into law a new Texas high school steroids testing program. This program is planned to launch in schools this fall. With the implementation of this new law, Texas would have the largest high school program for steroid testing in the country. Testing 22,000. Lets be 100% positive before we make judgment. Very nice start. Will all your posts be about steroids and steroid testing? July 21, 2007 at 12:59 PM. The Eyes of Texas.

Argumentative and Informative Texas Politics: NASA sending drunk astronauts into space?
http://chuanggovt.blogspot.com/2007/07/nasa-sending-drunk-astronauts-into.html
Argumentative and Informative Texas Politics. Friday, July 27, 2007. NASA sending drunk astronauts into space? At least NASA is going to take action for these intolerable acts. Our tax dollars pay for such missions and the reckless treatment of our tax money should definitely be monitored better not just for us, but for the U.S to develop in terms of space travel and exploration. Interesting, but not at all specific to Texas State and Local Government. Furthermore, is there ANY evidence that alcohol ...

Argumentative and Informative Texas Politics: Texas Government, Flawed in Many Ways
http://chuanggovt.blogspot.com/2007/08/texas-government-flawed-in-many-ways.html
Argumentative and Informative Texas Politics. Friday, August 3, 2007. Texas Government, Flawed in Many Ways. Interesting, but not very focused. The post wanders from topic to topic. You'd be better served to pick on the the three topics (corruption, responsibillity, inquality) and develop it more fully. August 12, 2007 at 10:53 AM. A Lone Star Opinion: With Steroid Bill Government Oversteps Its Bounds
http://alonestaropinion.blogspot.com/2007/07/with-steroid-bill-government-oversteps.html
A Lone Star Opinion. Thursday, July 19, 2007. With Steroid Bill Government Oversteps Its Bounds. I would say no. What other purposes does this testing serve? If other substances besides steroids are found, what will be the protocol in that situation? Spending millions of dollars a year to randomly test high school athletes is absurd. The bottom line is that we do not want the government testing our children and infringing on their right to privacy before they are even of legal age. A Lone Star Opinion.

A Lone Star Opinion: Attorney General Greg Abbott to Review Craddick's Actions

A Lone Star Opinion. Friday, July 27, 2007. Attorney General Greg Abbott to Review Craddick's Actions. Tom Craddick’s refusal to recognize members of the house had a serious and long lasting effect on Texas politics and the concept of democracy. Days before the session ended in May 2007, a bipartisan group of lawmakers attempted to call for a vote on whether Mr. Craddick should finish the term as speaker or be removed and replaced for the interim. Texas Strength: Texas Is A Minority
http://texasstrength.blogspot.com/2007/08/texas-is-minority.html
Friday, August 3, 2007. Texas Is A Minority. Despite its unpopularity, having an income tax would help relieve the debate over regressive taxes and it could also be used to help fund education. Our current tax system doesn't provide enough revenue for the fiscal year to properly support school funding. Why do you think Texas rankings regarding education are so low?
