Friday, March 29, 2013. Spring Break Vacation and Jill's B-Day. We spent the first part of our spring break in Oregon visiting the coast and the Columbia River gorge. Before we left, we watched the Swiss Family Robinson. I asked Sage to write Journal entries for our trip just like they did in the movie. Here is what she wrote:. It all started after soccer. Wednesday, July 27, 2011. It is hard to believe that July is almost over and that summer vacation is winding down. Since our last post on June 4, here are a few things that have happened since then. Jill taught Gymnastics classes during June to Grant, Sage, Gabe, John, and a few other neighborhood kids. Grant went to Webelos camp at Lake Lowell. Sunday, October 20, 2013. Our summer wasn't too busy as Dee was working and could not get too much time off. We did enjoy family reunion's in Pocatello at the Christensen's house and with the Winegar's at Downatta Hot Springs. We enjoyed summer birthday's, the 24th of July celebration, a couple small camping trips, and we are now enjoying some great fall weather. Sunday, April 1, 2012. Conference Weekend, Jill's B-Day, Hiking, and Family Pictures. We just witnessed an amazing conference. Replica of Liberty Jail. A few weeks ago we took a trip to the Twin Falls Temple. We stayed overnight in Motel 6 and Jill and I took turns going through a session. Thursday, March 31, 2011. Headed down Spanish Fork Canyon looking for hot springs and found this mini-Zions in the middle of nowhere. Pretty cool though. Saturday, March 13, 2010. Mike has been very diligent in preparing for the MCAT. He has about one more month till he takes it. He studies every morning and night and takes a practice test every Saturday. He has sacrificed climbing and most of his hobbies to prepare for the MCAT. Wednesday, February 29, 2012. So I got a letter in the mail last Friday from a grad school saying, "Congratulations, you've been accepted into our program." I can't remember what the mana bears were celebrating but it was high five worthy and had had to do with the lengths they would go to protect their children I'm sure of it! Haha checking out "the rock"! Some photos from mama and papas I wanted to remember. Some of my grandmothers siblings. There were 16 total. Mama age 14. "Sausage curls" were made by rolling her hair around socks. 50th wedding anniversary in 1993. My heart is full.
