Friday, August 10, 2007. A Typical Intern Duty? Just to follow up from where I left off.I did get to fill in the next day for my boss Greg, the morning show producer (many may know him as the "treadmill guy"). Anyways, my responsibility was mostly to answer the phones and talk to the listeners, but I had another duty my second day on the job. It was my responsibility to get coffee for the morning show. OK. Nicky's Broadcasting Blog: February 2008
http://nickybroadcasting.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 24, 2008. Thinking back, one of the main reasons I started this blog was to showcase my work in broadcasting. And this past week.my work was made available to the public thanks to one of my professors who posted a story I did up on the school radio station's site, TitanRadio. I soon found that behind the mystery was the college's tunnel, which had been blocked off to the public for more than a decade. However, this only made me think of more questions. To check out the exclusive story!

Friday, December 12, 2008. For Future Generations.". Looking back at this semester, I've learned a lot about myself and my capstone group. I also developed my skills as a videographer. Writer, and editor. Through a tedious process, I worked tirelessly all semester on creating a 12-minute documentary, which ultimately took me down a path I did not expect; I met a lot of great people in the surrounding New Wilmington and New Castle community who loved history as much as I did. I wish I would have been more...

Nicky's Broadcasting Blog: May 2008
http://nickybroadcasting.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
Sunday, May 11, 2008. This semester has challenged me a lot: physically, mentally, emotionally.and I've learned so much about myself. That was the major goal in our Senior Capstone class. Not only did we work hard, we discovered more about who we are and what we want to do with our lives in the future. As a class, we explored the broadcast business, capstone projects, and even the Amazing Race TV show application. I had a great time putting together the video, and I think that maybe we have a shot. As th...

Sunday, March 30, 2008. The Search is Over.for Now. After updating my resume, gathering my references, and going to interviews.my summer plans are finally set. I was so worried about what I was going to do this summer when a number of opportunities came my way all at the same time. I was relieved to know that I had choices, but. It was hard to make a decision.especially since this is the last summer before I graduate. Just learning from other broadcast majors at Westminster College. 5, Ellen McGregor.

Nicky's Broadcasting Blog: October 2008
http://nickybroadcasting.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 30, 2008. Senior year has been all about perfecting the skills I want to take with me on my future career path. Plus the senior capstone project for broadcast majors at Westminster College. Surrounds a group of abilities that we're working with at a higher level to create a unique final outcome. It would only make sense that we're doing something we like, something we're good at, and something that we've worked at over our years. OH WAIT, but I forgot one thing: the hardest, most-challe...

Tuesday, December 18, 2007. Fall 2007 Semester Wrap Up, Plus a Job Opportunity! Well, a whole semester has passed since I last blogged, and it pretty much seems like a blur right now. I was so busy with my full schedule of classes which included my cluster class and an upper-level French class. But more importantly, I was even busier dazzling in elements of radio news all semester in BC 311. We even got to visit KDKA Rad. The heart of it all, on a field trip. Posted by Nicky Piszczor.
