During rush hour, people cram into the buses, spilling out of the doors, getting on and off while it is moving, pushing and shoving once inside. I take the bus everywhere in Colombo, but have managed to avoid peak times until last night. It was also dark, past 7pm, and apparently not the time when young women should be out alone.
