Accommodation consists of tented cottages, which is clean and well maintained with all the facilities for a relaxed weekend. Jillung’ as it was known during the British era is a massive 45 acre estate in the Kumaon hills of Uttarakhand, India. It is now known as Jilling estate and is cared for by Steve Lal and his wife Parvathi. Flowering of the apple trees. Trek to the estate. A steep climb of about an hour and we were welcomed into our cottage with piping hot cups of masala tea and a beautiful view of the Himalayan mountains in the distance.
