Knittin' and stuff. August 4, 2013. Sadly I had to give up the Tour de Fleece towards the end due to a very, very painful shoulder. I most probably over did it a bit on the spinning, but that’s me, go at it ‘hell for leather’ and suffer the consequences after! I did manage to produce some yarns I am very proud of and once this shoulder heals or I find a way to work with it, I will go back and finish the yarns I started. One thing I did learn during The Tour, is the existence of Spindolyns. July 9, 2013.

Elisa's Nest Tote KAL: Do you know which row you are on?
http://elisanesttotekal.blogspot.com/2008/04/do-you-know-which-row-you-are-on.html
Thursday, April 3, 2008. Do you know which row you are on? If you do, cool! If not, read on and see if this helps you! This is simply called reading your knitting, once you figure that out its smooth sailing from here! OK first things first. When you get done with a K1 *yo, K2tog* row or a *SSK, yo* K1 row it will look something like this: notice the slanted yarn overs. Then you will need to purl the next row. Then you need to do the opposite, the SSK. OK so that was it, my tricks. I know they really...

Elisa's Nest Tote KAL: Elisa's Nest Backpack
http://elisanesttotekal.blogspot.com/2008/04/elisas-nest-backpack.html
Wednesday, April 30, 2008. I knit the bag in the round, and therefore the opening at the top was quite small. Reading through everyone's tips it's now clear why knitting flat and then seaming most of the way up the sides would work better. I made my bag into a little backpack for my daughter to take to the beach. It's not really Elisa's. Bag at this point! Next time I'll allow more than eight days for a project but I have really enjoyed my first KAL :). Posted by Fun is always in style. One credit per to...
