I was googling recipes for okonomiyaki, mochi, green tea ice cream, and miso. mmmmmm. :). 10 May 2010 at 19:33. I love, love, LOVE Japanese food too! 10 May 2010 at 20:54. 10 May 2010 at 21:24. Kusi, Eric and Finn in Berlin. Tuesday 20 April 2010. Mary and Brian's visit. This is Eric and Mary at the fountain in front of the Rathaus (Town Hall). Both Brian and Eric were in full posing form. Above is Brian showing the goat the horns of rock. This is Eric with the famous Marx and Engels statues. He seems to like Engels better - Henry would be pleased. This is Brian cowering in the "crotch of Communism" - Eric's words, not mine. This is Mary and Eric walking in a tunnel underneath the Spree. So jus...

Kusi, Eric and Finn in Berlin: March 2010
http://ekdublin.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Kusi, Eric and Finn in Berlin. Thursday 25 March 2010. Meet my new fruit of the day, Monsieur Pomelo. I had never seen one before and they suddenly appeared in the supermarket a couple of months ago. (I got Eric to take a photo of it beside my head so you could get a sense of the size of it. It ain't small, that's for sure! Note the hungry glint in the eyes! Anyway, since then it seems I have eyes for no other fruit. I am a woman obsessed (so much so I decided to blog on its tastiness)! So it was finally...

Kusi, Eric and Finn in Berlin: November 2009
http://ekdublin.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Kusi, Eric and Finn in Berlin. Tuesday 3 November 2009. New Album Teaser Video. First off, I have re-vamped my music website. Please have a look when you have some time - www.ericeckhart.com. While my producer Fabien Leseure meticulously worked on mixing the song called "Big Lie" on Sunday, I walked around the studio and its grounds with my MacBook filming the surroundings with the built-in iSight camera. The studio is part of the Funkhaus. Using the video I shot and photos from Dave Hingerty.

Sunday, April 29, 2007. Happy Birthday, Síofra Maighréad! Síofra turned 3 today! We had a great party with over 25 people in our apartment. Despite my worrying, we had plenty of food, and the Butterfly Cake turned out great. Some of her friends from the park came along, and Auntie Ann and Grandma were up from Cork. Síofra was in her element as the party girl- she has loved parties and excitement ever since her spectacular birth. Here are a few pics. The Cake ( very easy to do, by the way. 3) how I ever t...

Wednesday, February 28, 2007. Now she takes great pride in being a "big girl," as well as taking a great interest in her waste products. Her latest hobby is to take a look at the poo and comment on it. In the same way that some folks look at the clouds and see images, Siofra sees things in her poo. Here's a list of some of her visions:. 1 "It's like a horse! 2 "It's like a chair! 3 "It's like a bagel! 4 "It's like a rainbow! I'm sure this is a sign of great intelligence. Dublin Days: November 2006
http://dublin-days.blogspot.com/2006_11_01_archive.html
Tuesday, November 28, 2006. We're back. We had a great ten days back in Michigan, and are swiftly recovering from the jet lag (Síofra and Paddy were both up at 1 am last night playing). The highlights of the trip were:. 1 How great the kids were on the flights. Seriously, we were lucky. Maybe when you prepare yourself for complete disaster, mild disruption seems enjoyable. It really is good. She uses it to Paddy when he tries to take something from her. I'm thinking her girl cousins taught it to her!

Dublin Days: June 2007

Tuesday, June 26, 2007. It's been a busy week.I had my doula training on Friday and Saturday and it was great. It really deserves its own post but I'm still processing it all, so you'll have to wait. Siofra graduated from playschool, and also played the Pig in the Little Red Hen on Friday. She loved her diploma, but probably loved the pink face paint more. Paddy can say about 10 words now, including "Ra-Ra" for Siofra and he has fully moved into her bedroom now, at least for most of the night. Honest to ...
