Art guided by octopus arms / nyc. An annual, non-profitting collaborative artist project, paying tribute to fallen heroes and icons. The Faces of Death. Idea was originally realized in 1997 in my friend Milton Carter and his pals' music 'zine. In 2013, Milton passed the F.O.D. torch on to me. As I would prefer not to profit in the name of lives passed, this project is non-profitting. All sales made help to recoup cost of producing complementary art for all participating artists. Any good dashboard needs a set of custom Icons. These were done in a combination of Illustrator of photoshop. Inspired by brankic1979. More to come. Users want the ability to get their information visually, with the ability to deep dive into specifics. In this case I implemented Google Charts as my charting solution for it's ability to make customizable combination bar and line charts with tool tips to break out product, dates, and amounts on hover.

The result was an in MVP product that met all of the initial goals. It allowed in a short period of time, for us to create a fully working version that we could get in front of users and start getting feedback. The process was possible because a small lean team was able to work together with minimal deliverables and hand-offs. Below is sample from a low fidelity wireframe that I was able to quickly adapt and share with team. It allowed us to nail down high-level requirements and change quickly.

At Boungiorno I spend time pitching ideas for future product ideas. One such idea revolved around a sports oriented game in the vein of ESPNs "Streak for Cash". The game involved playing against friends in the prediction of sporting even outcomes. It was driven by a social feature that allowed you to "Shout" at friends.
