Thursday, 29 January 2009. I saw this from Emily’s blog… as I’m bored waiting for photos to load, I thought I’d give it a go! 1 YOUR SPY NAME (middle name and current street name):. 2 YOUR MOVIE STAR NAME (grandfather/mother on your mother's side and your favourite candy):. 3 YOUR RAP NAME (first initial of first name and first three or four letters of your last name):. 4 YOUR GAMER TAG (a favourite colour, a favourite animal):. 5 YOUR SOAP OPERA NAME (middle name, and city you were born in):. R to the P.

Tuesday, 12 May 2009. A crash course in bridge diving and raki. Day 6, Part II. Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina – Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Arriving at Mostar wasn’t too difficult, following signs for it with the Roman alphabet spray painted off helped to improve my Cyrillic reading skills, which I haven’t done so since I stopped learning Russian a couple of years, even though the Balkans added a couple of alterations and letters. Walking down the steps into the centre, passing a Labrador sitting ...

Nodyn o'r Menydd: Yossarian on God.
http://atjones.blogspot.com/2012/07/yossarian-on-god.html
Thursday, 26 July 2012. A brilliant passage from Joseph Heller's Catch 22, narrating Yossarian's religious views. I'm probably just as good an atheist as you are,' she speculated boastfully. 'But even I feel that we all have a great deal to be thankful for and that we shouldn't be ashamed to show it.'. What in the world was running through that warped, evil scatological mind of His when He robbed old people of the power to control their bowel movements? Why in the world did He ever create pain? When you ...

Nodyn o'r Menydd: November 2008
http://atjones.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 26 November 2008. Falling and spinning gracefully to Earth,. Almost never causing a stir to berth. Often going without notice given,. Even though by it, the land is driven. As weather and season pass by in time,. Helpless and lonely under dirt and grime. Time passing by and now all forgotten,. Countless of prints all over it trodden. Many a year may pass ever so slow,. And to be found again gives a bright glow. As it's useful once more, even this day,. For it to be passed hand to hand to pay.

http://atjones.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, 20 December 2008. In recent posts, I’ve written a few things about my car. Good and also bad things about it. A couple of weeks ago, it got so cold that it killed my battery and I went and got a new one. It was then I decided it needed a service, so it can get fixed and ready for an MOT test back home. But it’s a pity that my car is coming to the end of its driving life. Thursday, 18 December 2008. After Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Cawlchen and weird beards, we headed into M. We did manage a Gl.

Tuesday, 2 June 2009. A Day At The Office. Day 7, Part II. Višegrad, Bosnia and Herzegovina – Priboj, Serbia. Višegrad seemed like a typical post-Communist town. It was in the middle of nowhere, basically. Its river had a hydroelectric dam upstream and the buildings were decaying and architecturally bland with a hint of greyness and concrete. The cars and vehicles were old and dirty, spewing out black fumes from rusty exhausts. And then she arrived. We didn’t see what she drove, but we saw this...As we g...
