First appeared with live performances in the Cleveland hard rock metal music scene during the late 90's with all original music. Original Defying Silence members, Anthony Vincent, Dean and Lanzi, Joe Vargo, Bob Jones and Anthony Laombardo. The band name Defying Silence was later used by a different group knowing we existed and already had an online presence since 2000. Anthony stopped promotion efforts of Defying Silence because of this.
