Op 24 januari organiseerde de Kynologenclub Zaanstreek IJmond (KCZIJ) de traditionele Jonge Rashondendag. Op deze dag konden eigenaren hun jonge hond (tot 18 maanden) laten wennen aan de gang van zaken bij een exterieurkeuring. Er deden ruim honderd honden mee. Liefst vier keurmeesters beoordeelden alle honden, zodat elke hond vier keer een keuring kon ervaren.
