What are we holding on to? I can't imagine anyone would. What would the world look like today if the south had won? Slavery had to end but it would have been much later. Would we in the south still be in Jim Crow era? Would African Confederates have any rights at all? It is scary to imagine this outcome. All week I heard why the Panthers couldn't win this game. Thoughts on the McKinney Pool Party Incident. I have watched this video a few times and read people's comments about it on several sites and there are a few things that stand out to me. The reports I have read stated the kids in question were invited to the party and had guest passes but this annoyed the residents of the development and they called the police to get them removed. At 2:30 officer B is lecturing some of the lucky few on the ground while a group of kids stand near him doing nothing at all.

A letter to Jeff Tarte about Medical Examiner bill. Today it has been two years since my son was taken from me. We miss him dearly. There is legislation pending to reform the NC Medical Examiners office. I would like to see some kind of appeal process added where parents can submit new information that wasn't considered in the initial autopsy.
