The simple story of our simple lives. Wednesday, April 20, 2011. Ty is now FIVE years old! He just couldn't wait until his birthday. (mostly couldn't wait for all his presents! Everytime we would go to Target he would hit me up for a pack of Pokemon cards. I would tell him he would have to wait until his birthday. He didn't like that answer. Oh, and he wanted all his cousins to be there too! Especially "Wheel" aka Will! He got to ride the motorcycle ride with Dad! He also won lots of tickets to get candy!

The simple story of our simple lives. Monday, July 4, 2011. 4th of July in DC. What an amazing experience to celebrate the birth of our nation! We were so excited to join the many others at the National Mall downtown. We went there with some of Shane's co-workers. We found a spot right in between the Washington Monument and the WWII Memorial. I think we were a bit more excited about being there than most around us. Shane and I just couldn't stop smiling because it was just so cool! It was a good show!

Just a few for your enjoyment.well the ones I have pictures for at least! 1 Selling our house in Vancouver, Washington and moving across the country to Alexandria, Virginia. Stressful part being that we left our house in WA on May 25 th. And moved into our house in VA on August 9 th. It really was a great time!

For the last year my little brother has been trying to raise One Million Dollars for St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital. His year mark is almost here (March 25th) but he is still going strong.
