Monday, January 4, 2010. I've been going through boxes, putting Christmas away, and I discovered a poem I wrote after Sam was born. I've never written a poem before, don't know how, and don't really want to learn. I take my definition of poetry this time from Wordsworth: "the spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings."
