My Favorite Things: Gettin' Old
http://brianamyfavoritethings.blogspot.com/2011/10/gettin-old.html
Friday, October 7, 2011. October is big in our house, thanks to the two little munchkins who made their debuts during this month. Delaney's birthday is first and will be celebrating her 4th, and Sawyer will be 1. Time doesn't fly around here, it moves warp speed Start Trek style! Born at 34 weeks, Delaney was 4 lbs 6 oz and spent two weeks in the NICU. My grown up, lollipop loving kid! Only minutes old when this pic was taken :). Nearly a year and 8 teeth later, it's hard to remember him as a newborn.

My Favorite Things: March 2011
http://brianamyfavoritethings.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, March 24, 2011. Enter the honesty part of the equation, "Delaney, did you swallow your carrot? Yup" "Open your mouth." "Ahhhhh." Mouth full of carrot. This provides an excellent object lesson for her about what is true and what isn't, along with threats of punishment if she doesn't do some quick chewing. Interestingly, Delaney will choose the most inopportune moment to share the whole truth with whoever will listen. "Why is your belly so big? Friday, March 18, 2011. One Liners From My 3 Year Old.

GirlTravelOR: June 2015
http://girltravelor.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Friday, June 5, 2015. A few of my not-so-favorite things. I just spent over $100 on pollution face masks. In case you hadn't heard, we did indeed miss graduation. In fact, we are STILL waiting on paperwork, though we are promised to be in the final stages! Hopefully we will be ready to apply for our visa in SF in the next couple weeks. We have a tentative leave date of July 5th. As we prepare, I am reminded of the things I do not miss about China. Expensive and hard to find American desserts. Happy 149th...

We also recently purchased tickets to Oregon, so I'm really starting to get excited about the holidays! 160; Only 12 days until we board a plane! Here's some shots of decorating the tree. GirlTravelOR: Safety Restraints? Not here.
http://girltravelor.blogspot.com/2015/08/safety-restraints-not-here.html
Tuesday, August 4, 2015. Before we moved into our apartment, they had someone come over to fix the main air conditioner. I walked into the living room to see this:. To be clear, our apartment is on the 4th floor, and that is outside our window. Not sure exactly what he was standing on, but there's not much. I took this from another window. GirlTravelOR: New Home!
http://girltravelor.blogspot.com/2015/07/new-home.html
Thursday, July 30, 2015. We finally moved into our new home on Monday! It is large and nice and we are super blessed. Hopefully I can get some pictures up of it soon, but we're still working hard to get everything in order. We still have no dressers so funny enough we are still living out of boxes and suitcases for a bit. She probably has more clothes than any of us! I had also forgotten where. I had forgotten I had packed some of my softer intimates in to cushion between toys! And a nice sized flat scre...

Saturday, August 1, 2015. Laundry has been a challenge for me coming back. After three weeks we finally have a working washing machine as of four. Days ago. Until then I had been running back and forth between a friend's apartment to borrow her washing machine. However, even when I would get it washed, getting it to dry was another challenge! Now that we have our washer I am trying to get caught up on the many loads that had built up! Now that does not look like fun! August 2, 2015 at 10:31 AM. View my c...

GirlTravelOR: September 2013
http://girltravelor.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 22, 2013. They say if you want to know what is said within a family, ask the 3 year old. Right now BOTH kids are into mimicking. One thing that drives Nathan and me crazy is parking in China. One of my friends used to have a folder on Facebook with pictures of horrible parking jobs in the States.they don't even come close to what we see over here! Aw, come on! You've got to be kidding. I look ahead where she's pointing and there is a car parked across the sidewalk in front of us. It's a...

GirlTravelOR: March 2015
http://girltravelor.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 29, 2015. We've been enjoying the warm weather here in Austin (almost a little too warm for March! Yesterday we even went swimming. Today I took advantage of church clothes to get a couple sweet shots of the kids. Unfortunately, by the end of day Matthew was running a 103 fever. We are hoping it goes away as quickly as his sister's did last week! Friday, March 27, 2015. No length of explaining or persuasion could convince them of why this might work in our situation. One of the things I val...
