Once upon a time. Tuesday, December 4, 2012. Fortress of Darkness, Man Cave, Whatev. When looking for our home Husband had basically one requirement, there had to be a large basement that he could turn into the Man Cave. Oh and he gets to paint the walls black so that he can basically live in a cave. His window covering idea? Duct taping cardboard over all of the windows, because that's classy. I was able to convince him we can get blackout curtains so that he can go about his vampire ways.

Once upon a time. Friday, April 20, 2012. I found out the other day I was featured in the May issue of Parenting Magazine! This was quite the surprise when I found out that I had to call my dad to troll the airport shops to find the correct issue (the airports get magazine's before everyone else). He found it and then immediately sent me pictures. So exciting! April 20, 2012 at 3:29 PM. April 20, 2012 at 3:59 PM. That seriously puts the biggest smile on my face! April 21, 2012 at 9:55 AM.

Once upon a time. Over Labor Day weekend we went to his Euro Train reunion in Denver, and by this point the thought of getting engaged was a thousand miles away. We got back from our trip on Sunday and little did I know the next day was going to be one of the best/most hilarious days of my life.
