This page is to show you where we live and work. Our studio is in Deloraine and our home in Meander, just 10 minutes out of town. It is a truly beautiful part of the world. Up in the "bush" where we live there are lots of great walks, long or short. The next 2 photos show what it is like once you get past the swing bridge at the Huntsman Hideaway (a 2 storey wooden building for serious walkers to overnight in before hitting the long walks! I am a former RAF pilot, having spent 30 years flying and instructing in the military environment. Al Reem compound Riyadh in a previous existence! I have also been heavily involved in Safety Management Systems in the aviation industry. It is amazing how so many people and organisations are scared of the concept of an SMS. We are continually changing our stock of books, and we try to keep our prices as reasonable as we can - they can be so expensive! As well as new art technique books, whenever we find them we try to get in pre-loved art books. They aren't as common as you might think. I think artists must also be hoarders. Sunday, 8 January 2012. We hope you had a good festive season and that 2012 is a great year for you. Our Christmas was quiet, deliberately so, but still pretty busy. There were two markets in December so for the second one just before Christmas we went seasonal. Jacque spent a long time making Christmas bunting from her stash of Christmas fabrics. They looked great on the stall. And we plan to have an additional, adjoining stall for me to have books, CDs and musical instruments. Should be interesting!

Here are some of Jacque's quilts, some of which are still for sale. Sadly, photographs seldom do a quilt justice, but if you like what you see, you can always come in here to "inspect" it, or contact us on bohemianarts@tastel.net.au. I can always tell when a customer comes in who is a quilter. They immediately go up to the corner of the quilt and turn it round to see how well the backing has been done! A Little Bit of Africa. These are some of Jacque's paintings from the last few years. They are in no particular order. Acrylic and pumice stone mortar. 65279; . The title is from the Gaelic word meaning "dreaming" in its feminine form. The Celtic cross has been built up with pumice stone mortar, carved and then painted. Mixed media and acrylic. Sold.
