http://curingwhatailsme.blogspot.com/2008/03/week-2-flowers-apple-pie.html
Curing what ails me. Saturday, March 29, 2008. Week 3 Flowers Birthday Apple Pie. Week 2 Flowers Apple Pie. My 9-year-old hates birthday cake. This year he requested apple pie instead. This was a big hit, especially compared to the very recent birthday party we attended where the candles were placed on deviled eggs (I'm not kidding! I love devilled eggs- but not as birthday cake! March 29, 2008 at 10:16 PM. Birthday pie - an idea whose time has come. Waaaaaay better than birthday deviled eggs. A barrel f...

curing what ails me: puke: curing what ails them
http://curingwhatailsme.blogspot.com/2008/10/puke-curing-what-ails-them.html
Curing what ails me. Tuesday, October 28, 2008. Puke: curing what ails them. 3 out of 4 kids are home sick from school today. I fully expect to get a call from school to pick-up the other one any minute now. So instead of curing, I am trying to clean puke from the carpets and blankets and pillows and trying to dash here and there juggling buckets to catch the puke before it hits the floor. Well, my babies need mom-love today. And I need more Clorox. Labels: apartmenttherapy fall cure. I have learned some...

curing what ails me: September 2009
http://curingwhatailsme.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Curing what ails me. Monday, September 21, 2009. Dress Design for Shabby Apple dresses. This is my dress design for Shabby Apple. Like the first daffodils of spring, I envision this dress in a crisp fabric such as taffeta in solid lemon yellow. I also think it would be smashing in a pale grey or a white/black tiny polka dot with a skinny yellow belt. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). What am i doing here? Continuing to make progress with the apartment therapy. Cure, i'm moving on to the fall cure!

Where there are Meadowlarks...: Getting there...
http://serenityathome.blogspot.com/2012/05/getting-there.html
Where there are Meadowlarks. Musings, meanderings, meanings, music, and a myriad of other things. Friday, May 18, 2012. Two wonderful friends came over late this afternoon, and in just over an hour they moved furniture around, put up a small metal shelving unit, et cetera, et cetera, and so forth. I am so very happy that what I envisioned worked out even better than I had expected it to. Now the fun of putting things away where they will belong begins. After a bit of a rest. Pictures will be forthcoming.

http://curingwhatailsme.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html
Curing what ails me. Thursday, December 6, 2007. Top 10 (okay.12). This would be the list.I have these (or very similar) items in my closet (except for the yummy red coat.in real life, I am still wearing my trusty black wool.) The top three items are my basic daily uniform.which is definitely how I think of it. I am in the process of adding color! 2 Black cardigan sweater. 3 White scoop neck T. 4 Red turtleneck sweater. 5 Plaid wool bias-cut skirt (found mine at Goodwill for $3). Was not a success).

curing what ails me: October 2007
http://curingwhatailsme.blogspot.com/2007_10_01_archive.html
Curing what ails me. Thursday, October 18, 2007. If you don't have anything nice to say.(an aside). I'm feeling bad.not so much because I have an awful head cold and am also taking care of 4 little humans who are also hacking and wheezing, but because I sunk to snarkiness in my comments on some of the entries in the Fall Colors contest. My mother always said (and yours did too) "if you don't have anything nice to say."you know the rest. Still, I'm no MrGreen.though I do miss him. Monday, October 15, 2007.

curing what ails me: Week 3: entryway update
http://curingwhatailsme.blogspot.com/2008/03/blog-post_29.html
Curing what ails me. Saturday, March 29, 2008. Week 3: entryway update. In the next month or so, we will install cubbies to the right of the kitchen door (above) and to the right of the front door (below). Each unit will consist of 2 open lockers with hooks for coats/backpacks to hang, with boxes above and below for shoes, hats, sporting equipment, bike helmets, etc. It looks much fresher! I'm jealous- I don't have that much room for hooks, let alone cubbies. They will be wonderful, though. And also tryi...

Where there are Meadowlarks...: The History of a Home Project. Part One: Living Room
http://serenityathome.blogspot.com/2012/06/history-of-home-project-part-one-living.html
Where there are Meadowlarks. Musings, meanderings, meanings, music, and a myriad of other things. Wednesday, June 6, 2012. The History of a Home Project. Part One: Living Room. Yes, I'm finally ready for the big REVEAL. I thought it might be interesting to review the history of this project, beginning when I moved in here in December 2008/January 2009. The living room was workable, for a while, but there was still extraneous stuff in the room, and it wasn't quite the serene space I dreamed of. For severa...
