A family's journey to adding a sibling (or two! Through anonymous donor eggs. Friday, July 5, 2013. Yesterday, my older son started talking about our family history. He shared how he was born and then how we had lost so many babies and that we went to get some help from a doctor with more eggs and then we got the twins and how everything is perfect and wonderful and we have our family. It was absolutely worth it to get to this stage of our journey. I hope our story helps others along this path, too.

He is wonderful and beautiful and our friend is high on being a mommy! Things are going extraordinarily well, should you think there might be problems. My life since losing my darling Kara at 37wks 3 days into my pregnancy. Thursday, December 29, 2011. Christmas 2011, minus one. Even now, the thought of that tiny table with three little names on the seating cards makes me sad and angry. Saturday, December 11, 2010. We had our transfer that brought us our beautiful daughter. I'm sorry for not updating but I got lazy and then busy w/ my. DD was breach at our 38 week appointment and I wasn't a good. Candidate for a version so a c-section was scheduled. We get to the hospital at 5 am on delivery day and baby. Had flipped head down. Thursday, June 24, 2010. Frustration and a little vent. I had my 30 wk appt and it went really well. Baby and I are doing great and right on track. I go back in 2 weeks and the only kinda bad thing is he strongly recommends/prefers continuous fetal monitoring which I wanted to avoid but I'll trust his judgment and go w/ it. Monday, January 23, 2012. Sweetpea is all about climbing right now. She's managed to climb on the coffee table but is too short to manage the couch yet and that drives her crazy. A lot of my day is spent helping her on and off the couch or telling her to sit down on the chair/sofa/whatever she's climbing or standing on. Sweetpea is wonderful, she's 16 months and a normal happy busy toddler. She loves Yo Gabba Gabba, Dogs, and Mama. She's a complete Mama's girl and I love it.
