View my complete profile. Monday, December 3, 2012. So this is how you do it. I peeled the paper off all my old broken crayons. Then I cut them up to be about 1/4 inch each. Now you can do them in solid colors or mix them all up. I thought it would be fun to do solids and I did mixed as well. You can use really any pan you want. I have these super cuter ginger people ones I have had for about 15 years. Off to the oven they go. I put them in the cooled oven no real reason but not wanting to burn myself.
