http://cu-nano.livejournal.com/2046.html
Champaign/Urbana NaNoWriMo Authors Group. Where the writing starts. and hopefully continues. Jul 10th, 2008 at 10:41 AM. I hope this message is appropriate. I found this community from the Nano boards (and posted this there, but how likely is it that people are reading them in July? Anyway. I just moved to the area, couldn't find a writers group, and started one on Meetup.com: http:/ writers.meetup.com/1001/. Http:/ writers.meetup.com/1001/. 4 comments Leave a comment. Dog update (for those who were following that drama) - Jennifer Dawson: editor, author, and so much more

Jennifer Dawson: editor, author, and so much more. Dog update (for those who were following that drama). Jul 13th, 2011 at 4:39 PM. Overall, the situation is much better, though I do think she's still too timid outside. Now that she's eating regularly and her bowels are back to normal, I'm far less concerned that something physical is wrong. Maybe it was a stomach bug? Needless to say, I appreciate all the feedback I received when I begged for help. My dog thanks you, too. 16 comments Leave a comment.

Must get back in the habit... - Jennifer Dawson: editor, author, and so much more

Jennifer Dawson: editor, author, and so much more. Must get back in the habit. Jul 5th, 2011 at 11:11 PM. Of logging in to LJ and reading friends' posts, even if I'm not doing any blogging. But first, it seems I shall have to weed through the friends I have, remove some and add others. I also love polls (even seemingly-silly ones about favorite Star Trek TV series) and links. And I prefer bloggers who use lj cuts on longer posts so they don't take up half of my friends' page when viewing. Anything fun is...

Thoughts on the nature and lifespan of blogs? - whichever way the wind blows
http://seph-ski.livejournal.com/940068.html
Whichever way the wind blows. Thoughts on the nature and lifespan of blogs? Sep 15th, 2010 at 12:38 PM. With Vox closing, and not having much warning or explanation (grrr.), I'm debating the future of my content. I have a couple of options as far as exporting it to other blogs, and there's a conversion tool for putting it into a PDF, which doesn't seem to be available at the moment. (sigh). We blog, but how long do we really expect our words to hang out there? How often do you go back to it? I guess I do...

2013 Goals - standing on a star unstable
http://merriehaskell.livejournal.com/631681.html
Standing on a star unstable. I am the same, and the same name still I keep. Jan 17th, 2013 at 11:20 AM. I dont have them. But I think I should make them. In public. And have some accountability, like, for every goal segment not reached I have to donate a dollar to a charity I hate. The Tea Party? And whats a hurtful number of goal segments? 100 isnt enough. Im thinking $250. More later, as I figure this all out. Suggestions for figuring this out welcome! 11 comments Leave a comment. Heh, okay. Yeah&#...

Seriously. Half the year is gone already? Jun 30th, 2012 at 9:48 PM. Remember when you were a kid and you were counting down the days and the hours and the minutes. To Christmas or your birthday or that Big Thing That You Couldnt Wait to Do, and you were sure that time was slowing down just to spite you, and couldnt it get here already, and your folks said just wait. Time moves faster the older you get. And you thought they were full of shit? How do you guys stop and smell the proverbial roses? I don't s...
