Bij het sportpark aangekomen, zet Charlie snel haar fiets op slot en volgt een van haar teamgenotes naar de kantine. Tik, tik, tik, doen hun voetbalnoppen op de koude stoeptegels. Bij de deur verzucht Charlie opeens: Vanaf dat ik wakker werd, kan ik alleen nog maar aan de wedstrijd denken, ik hoop dat we winnen.

Welcome to my world! This is work I created for a friend who ran for City Council last year. This piece was created as an invitation to his fundraiser. The press release was created but never published because newspapers counted that as an endorsement. This article appeared in the two-page spread for the Portage Lakes Career Center. Alumni does good – good for the school and good for the candidate. The timing was perfect as well. It was published in October – just before election.
