The wonder of all things social. Com domains vs all the other extensions. April 30, 2012. I’ve always preached that it’s better to use a .com domain for your project. The difficulty is confusion. You’re lucky to get people to remember your domain name let alone some obscure extension. What’s going to happen is you’re going to loose important traffic and you wont even know how to measure it since they will be at someone else’s site. They could even be your competitor. The wonder of all things social. WordPress Ask the Expert. April 20, 2012. Last week as an experiment I had a WordPress session right before another event that I was involved with. The event right after is called ModLab and it’s the open house for one of the labs where I work on my projects. It was fun but I found that it didn’t run smoothly since ModLab starts a little early often and you can’t easily have the two activities going at the same time.
