Tuesday, March 06, 2012. On Friday March 2, 2012 at 9:14 am our little Brenay family grew from 4 to 5! We welcomed Grace Ila Brenay into the world with more love than I ever could have imagined! Grace weighed 7.7 lbs and was 19 1/4" long. She has a full head of dark hair and she weighed the most out of the 3 kids. Friday, December 28, 2012. Emma was not allowed to wear her costume to school and I probably wouldn't have let her anyway! So we came up with something cute for her to wear so she would feel festive. I went in and helped in Derrick's classroom for their party so I got Grace dressed in her little skeleton shirt. Tuesday, November 19, 2013. Gracie's 1st Diamondbacks Game. April 27th we took Grace to her first Diamondbacks game! Thankfully Ron was able to get us great seats before he retired! Grace skipped her afternoon nap and was a cranky baby on the drive to the ballpark. Once we got there she was excited by everything new. Then Jon got her to sleep and she got a pretty good nap in. Thursday, August 22, 2013. Gracie Girl is 1! On March 2 our Gracie girl turned 1! The time flew by so quickly! Of course we had to have a Minne Mouse party for her because she LOVES Mickey Mouse Clubhouse! I was trying to decide what to do for a cake when I found a lady online that made a fake cake for me with only the top half being real cake for Grace to dig into. And she only charged me $10! Sunday, June 23, 2013. February 20th was a particularly cold day. That evening we were shopping at Walmart as a family. Jon had finished before me and took Emma and Derrick out to the truck. Wednesday, June 13, 2012. Easter was my first time back to church since having Grace. I was so happy to be back, especially on Easter to feel the spirit on such an important day. I wanted to be able to go as a family even though she was still so little. I kept her in her seat and no one bothered (or touched) her! The kids woke up to their Easter baskets on the couch. Tuesday, November 19, 2013. April started out with me getting Bronchitis! It was the most sick I think I have ever been! Jon and I had been planning date night all week and I desperately needed it after taking care of sick kids for weeks. I started feeling pretty yucky on Friday, but I was determined to go out on our date. I realized I had a fever right before we left that night and my voice was pretty much non-existent! Tuesday, November 19, 2013. Emma had her 2nd annual Spring Ballet recital on April 20th. She was an Arabian Dancer this year and I loved watching her dance in this role.
