Sounds rather grand, it was in fact a gathering of 180 lay leaders from churches around the area. The particular Christian stream that I'm linked to has decided to provide a Banquet of five courses spanning the next twelve months or so. Last Saturday was The Starter. It has been two weeks since Sue and I moved from Nailsea, in North Somerset to Barlaston, in Staffordshire. I thought it may be of some interest to record some of my initial thoughts and reactions.
