The Common Thread: July 2009
http://indywiards.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 28, 2009. Boys vs. Girls. The kids have some of their best conversations while we’re driving in the car … I don’t often remember to mention them but there is a first time for everything! On our way to the library yesterday, Nicholas was playing with his Bionicles—they were battling, complete with menacing dialogue, when Paige says, “Nicholas, why can’t they just say, ‘Hi, you’re my friend! Let’s play together nicely! Nicholas and his battling Bionicles. Thursday, July 23, 2009. Wrong Brian ...

Saturday, May 19, 2012. Thursday was by far the best day at Disney, in my humble opinion! We started off the day by going to Animal Kingdom as soon as the park opened. We went straight back to Africa so we could go on the safari and catch the animals before it got too hot- turned out to be a good plan because we sure saw a lot! We saw hippos, rhinos, giraffes, elephants and lions . plus a few things that we had no idea what we were looking at! From Animal Kingdom, we headed back to the hotel to get ready...

For everyone to keep up on the ongoing events of our family! Sunday, September 28, 2008. The last couple of weekends have gone by in a blur (don't they all), but what fun we have had! As I said in the last post, this weather is GREAT! We have had all kinds of outside exploring. We spent some time outside with 'the boys' playing at the playground. These guys are the spitting ima. House on Saturday and Sunday - - and we have reports that he had an amazing time. On Sat. All sorts of pinks, purples and blues...
The Davis Family: AU Homecoming...
http://joelisareece.blogspot.com/2008/10/au-homecoming.html
For everyone to keep up on the ongoing events of our family! Monday, October 20, 2008. I don't think we could have ordered up better weather for homecoming. The day was absolutely glorious -. Reece however, would have been better left in bed all day. As I have told some of you, we believe he is in the process of receiving his two-year molars and was a wreck all mo. Due to his behavior we tried to keep moving and decided to come home instead of going to the game to give him a nap. Guess what? That evening...

For everyone to keep up on the ongoing events of our family! Wednesday, February 20, 2008. It was a lot of fun to have Nana visit for a long weekend. She hung out with Reece while Lisa and I were able to go to Weber Grill on Friday night for a Valentine's dinner. That place was great - you should definitely try it out. The rest of the weekend was just good hang-out time. Reece entertained us for hours with his new deep laugh. Links to this post. Friday, February 15, 2008. In the robe that my. After leavi...

For everyone to keep up on the ongoing events of our family! Thursday, October 16, 2008. Last week was fun and miserable all in the same seven days. We made a couple of trips to the pumpkin. Patch, first to the Smith Family Farms with the AU alumni group and then later in the week to Waterman's with Kendra, David and Grant. Reece loved both trips and we have our pumpkins. Keep us away, but it held off until we were ready to head home. Goodness it was only a 24 hour bug. They were having s. Love the pictu...

Sunday, May 17, 2009. I post this not because I think I have amazing decorating abilities, but to emphasize how much I LOVE BIRDS! But barely uses her left leg. Loving these creatures as much as I do, I just want to pick her up and nurse her back to health; however she just doesn't understand that I'm not going to eat her for dinner whenever I try to get near her. So, I throw her and her mallard pieces of bread and also, what else? Who is my handsome bird? Have I mentioned how much I love this guy? Sadly...
The Common Thread: March 2010
http://indywiards.blogspot.com/2010_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 21, 2010. Most parents have said it at least 100 times, and will say it at least 100 more, but, in this case it bears repeating:. Where has the time gone? It just doesn't feel like my sweet baby boy can be seven years old already. SEVEN! After we took Gavin home, the four of us went back to our house and Nicholas opened all his cards (we save them for the actual birthDAY so there is more to open) and gifts. I think I literally puffed up with pride as our boy read every single word of hi...

Historic Denniston, New Zealand - - 8th Wonder of the World
Either Loved or Hated but always with passion. When Gary and Sylvia James moved into their house on Denniston for no other reason than that it suited their life style they never anticipated how this would change their lives and that of many others. Either driven by love or hate, but always with a passion, old residents and their families kept returning to the rapidly deteriorating physical remains of their past to reminisce times gone by and share their memories with anybody prepared to listen.
