We did the annual Easter Egg Hunt at Eileen's ranch this year. The four kids got a lot of eggs. Ellie, Gavin and friend Sofia loved searching for eggs in the tall grass. Aunt Erin, Ethan and Sofia got plenty of eggs. And Gavin found the silver egg. Relaxing on the grass and eating lunch. Then it was games for the little kids. Sharon with the kids with on an ox cart.

We started the trip in Ohio, staying with Grammie and Grampie, having a lovely dinner out on the terrace. The next day we went to Amish country, just south of Akron, and went into Lehman's Hardware Store, which is huge. The sign told us to watch for horse and buggies. . . Saturday, August 30, 2014. When Brielle was still an only child, she was spoiled with a long drawn out bedtime routine. A nice long bath, 3 stories, 3 songs, cuddles. When Preston is tired, he just wants to go to bed, so his routine has been easy to keep short. He has no desire for stories at nap or bedtime. Friday, July 31, 2015. Brielle in Europe-May 21. Date: Thursday, May 21. We only touched the water with our fingers. It was warm. There were pretty pebbles and rocks all over the beach. We went to the German graveyard. All of the crosses were for the Christian German Soldiers and the Star of David were for the Jews. Wednesday, February 18, 2015. In January, the kids had 2 days off school. James still had to stay home for work, but the kids and I took advantage of the break and took a road trip up to the Sacramento area to visit our cousins that had recently moved there. The kids loved the time to play games and toys together. We went to the park, went to church together, and had a great time being able to celebrate Nora's birthday. He asked to nurse, but the sun wasn't up yet (which is his rule-milk goes to bed with the sun), so I tucked him back in bed and he went to sleep again.
