Really nice museum with a lot packed into it. There are a lot of informational displays and a ton of equipment, etc. It's all housed in an old and interesting building. The staff was helpful and talking to one of the old firefighters was really interesting and informative. . Took my 4 and 2 year old and they loved it! Our 3 year old is addicted. He asks for it all the time. He and Daddy always come home with new interesting info. (This is my chance for Mommy time. :).). Our 19th month old enjoyed it!

It has no particular signature dish, except perhaps the Denver omelet, but let's face it, the Denver omelet is not particularly unique. (Oddly, I saw more places selling Philly cheese steak sandwiches than Denver omelets. I wonder if Philly's full of Denver-omelet-specializing diners? On May 20, 1935, fire broke out at the Casanova, night club of the famous Brown Palace Hotel in downtown Denver. Flimsy draperies and hanging decorations in the Casanova went up like tinder, pouring smoke and gas fumes th. Several guests were carried down ladders by firemen.
