Monday, October 24, 2011. My Grandmother passed away a couple weeks ago. Yeesterday I was reminded about the one thing I loved most about Grandma! I remember Grandma Lanning as a woman who loved God and shared Christ to those around her. 1) People, lots of them, from anywhere. Family, friends, people off of the street, it didn't matter what you looked like or where you came from, there was always room for one more. :). 2) Food, nobody goes hungry on a dairy farm, especially when with the Lanning's. Monday, November 26, 2012. Thanksgiving at Enchanted Rock. My Mom and Amy planned all the meals and did an especially fantastic job with Thanksgiving dinner. Mom made the gravy and turkey ahead of time. We wrapped the turkey up in foil and re-heated it on the fire. We made stuffing and rolls in the crock pot and also did mashed potatoes and a Waldorf salad. We heated up green beans and had store bought pies. Everything was so delicious! Here are a bunch of pictures from our fabulous camping vacation.

Monday, September 8, 2014. A Girl and Her Teddy Bear- 6 Months. Baby girl is 6 months old. Seriously, where has the time gone? It is flying by much faster this time around and it's breaking my heart! Maya has learned SO much this month! She now says "dada" and will typically do it on command. She learned how to sit up a lot better. I still don't leave her for very long, but I don't feel like she's going to topple over every time I take my hands off her! And here are some more photos to round it all out!
