At relatively short notice, Mary, Meg and I were given a VIP trip along the Mazaruni. River last Saturday. In fact we had no idea what to expect other than our line manager at NCERD. Miss Ali had offered the trip to us. So at 7-15am we set off to her house at Leonora Region 3 and little did we expect what we got. Private island to the Mazaruni. Style with three different types of salt fish.

And I hope that you have enjoyed reading our adventures. If we have our way, it won't be the last one and there will be many more adventures to come but this particular one has ended and we must "get on". For anyone out there who is thinking of doing a VSO placement, I can only encourage you and hope that you have a time as rewarding as the two of us.
