Although we don’t get too many lightning storms around here, they can cause serious damage to your electronics. A lightning strike close to your house can send high voltage and current into the wires, destroying your equipment. Even power outages can be deadly. Billionaire’s-to-be Birthday Bash. Here is a video of Google employees celebrating birthdays in 1999 before Google became big. Most of them are now millionaires. What company should we work for? I hope the guest speaker will spread some light on the subject on Friday. April 28, 2011. Columbia is releasing a jacket this fall with an internal heater. In the 1970’s the Space Shuttle Program was hoped to make space travel cost effective and simple. With reusable components, the idea was to make travel common place. The unfortunate Challenger disaster in 1986 was a serious setback. The break up of Columbia in 2003 brought further questions and concerns regarding the program.
