Out of the hotel and straight to the street market right outside our door. On the weekend the streets are lined with stands. Its like a street side flea market, really cool. Derek and Laura - Europe 08. Wednesday, November 26, 2008. WOW, what a day! We took a 7 hour train here this afternoon and settled into our hotel. or hostel hehe. This is not the kind of accommodations we have grown accustomed to on the rest of the trip but we will not let that stop us from enjoying this city. Its hard to say anything about Budapest yet. we got here in the dark and we are not staying downtown so it is a bit difficult to get a true feel for the city. So what did we do instead?

I still maintain that they are less welcoming here but if you stick to the touristy areas they are more willing to speak English – as long as you start with French first that is! Derek and Laura - Europe 08. Friday, November 14, 2008. Here we are, in Paris! Not much to report today. We spent most of the day traveling so we really haven't done too much here yet. We flew from London and got here about 3pm, at the hotel by 4:30pm. Quick nap, some supper and we are ready to crash. Up early for our first day of the hop on hop off tour. Hope everyone is well. Derek and Laura - Europe 08. Thursday, November 13, 2008. Abbey Road Studios and Chicago! This was the busiest day, for walking that is. I have to keep this short cause we just got back to the room and it's already 12:30am and we have to leave for Heathrow at 8am to fly to Paris. We started out today by taking the tube to Abbey Road and saw the studio and yes of course got a picture crossing the street! This shot is of us in front of it! You could hear then breathe from where we were. Very very cool.
