A sculpt I did in Zbrush aimed at improving my knowledge of anatomy and proportions. I designed and created one vehicle for prototype testing of vehicle driving mechanics. Mercenaries - Female Character. This was a prototype FPS action game on PS2/Xbox which never got released but the tech developed was the basis for OFP:MEC game I worked on afterwards. Other FSG projects 02. These were from a Buzz Game that we did before we started DJHERO. It was great fun comming up with the characters and environments for this game. This is a final concept done for the exterior of the castle where the game was based and the interiors where they were based within the castle. Other FSG projects 01. This was a project that was going to have a lot of extreme sport elements in it. Firstly it started off with a realistic look to it but we slowly moved to a more styilised look over time. ending up in a style i realy liked. This is the 3d model built in a realistic style, It gave me my first tase of next gen technics. This is where the style started to change. To a fully changed style to the one we started from. I was thinking of a Bare knuckle fighter from the 1800's when concepting this guy. It was also my first go on painter.I'm very addicted to painter after creating this set of heads from it. Slimey opium dealer 1800's. Very nervous young captian.(unfinished). A lord of London.(unfinished). 1950's boy racer.Must get white t-shirt with cigerette packet. Rolled up in sleve on him. DERMOT MURPHY ART BLOG. This is a old model I did years ago with SudDiv in Max, rendered in MetalRay. This was some work I did for prototyping with another weapon artist (Michal Rezska). I modelled all the peripherals onto Michal's weapon mesh (converted from an M16 model). This model was the basis to create full normal map bakes onto a game resolution mesh. Here are the meshes I did for Bodycount. With the exception of two of these, all where outsourced for texturing and loding. And here are the wires.
