Tuesday, December 9, 2014. Being a "NICU Mom" is something I never thought I would be or become. I have a greater love, appreciation, and empathy for these strong Moms and Dads. I am so grateful for Neonatal Intensive Care Units. Without them, many wonderful children wouldn't be here today. When my babies were taken through the NICU window I had no idea what to expect. So many questions were running through my mind. Are they going to be healthy boys? How long will we be here? Can I hold them?

Tuesday, December 23, 2014. I've been a horrible blogger! I try to get on here and do a family update at least once a month, but looks like I'm a little behind! A few weeks ago we went to Hemmingway Village in downtown Rexburg where they put on a great little Christmas activity which includes horse drawn sleigh rides, hot chocolate and donuts, a live nativity, and you get to meet the Grinch and Santa. Ryker was super excited to see The Grinch! Horse Drawn Sleigh Ride! Only 2 more days until Christmas!

Brodie fought against some tough competitors and won two matches and lost two matches. He got a medal and the coach gave him his first ever trophy for great sportsmanship. Monday, May 19, 2014. Last Saturday we went to the Apple Blossom Festival at the college. They have a cute little apple orchard and the blossoms were beautiful. And the weather was perfect! Thursday, July 30, 2015. The boys have been doing gymnastics for a few years now and they still absolutely love it! Brodie just moved up to Level 2 and Ryker moved up to Level 1, which is excellent because they don't usually move up until they are 5. Gymnastics is definitely Ryker's sport and I hope he sticks with it for quite awhile. After each season the gymnastics center puts on a showcase for the parents.
