The Long Road: February 2009
http://sandyfulton.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Adventures in riding, coffee, and peoples. Plus some ranting for good measure. Thursday, February 12, 2009. Sunday, February 8, 2009. That about sums up my weekend. Lying in bed trying to battle whatever this is. So much for some outdoor riding, I feel like death. Damn. Thursday, February 5, 2009. 50 number of board feet of kiln dried Walnut sitting in my living room. 2 number of espressos I've consumed so far this morning. 3 number of days since my mobile has been in the mood to charge. June 20 - Monaco...

Tales from the road. March 18, 2008. We toss around the term epic ride a lot in cycling. Today it was decided that unless you bonk during the ride, it cannot be considered an epic ride . Today would be what Denise Kelly would refer to as a breakthrough ride for many of the athletes at the camp. I would call it a tough ride by anyone’s standards, and a wicked good time, at least I can speak for the members from my group. We started off with the typical steady tempo up 178 into Rosman. Apparently great tas...

Tales from the road. April 13, 2008. Lot to say, but haven’t really had the motivation to write anything at all. Feeling somewhat settled back in Toronto, but not quite fully….yet. Raced today, legs felt like garbage, totally blocked and unable to push on the pedals. Shame, because I feel like I’m wasting good fitness. I didn’t suffer in the race, but wasn’t able to make much use of my time down south. Posted in Random Ramblings. Laquo; The Road Heads North. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Quick and Dirty: October 2006
http://quick-n-dirty.blogspot.com/2006_10_01_archive.html
Hey sicko, get your mind out of the gutter. This is about bike racing. And some other stuff. Sunday, October 29, 2006. Was a buttload of fun. I'm feeling fit and I've had some great training during the last few weeks at home. I've gotten to do some motor pacing as my mid week "hard workout" and I've had some nice rest. Next weekend is the next USGP races and I think I'm more ready (more ready than at Gloucester, anyway.). Here's a teeny-tiny picture of me doing a wheelie through the finish. It's pretty d...

Hey sicko, get your mind out of the gutter. This is about bike racing. And some other stuff. Monday, November 27, 2006. Reports from the last few weeks-. I've been getting out there and pinning that number on for the last couple weeks, the races in the pacific northwest were pretty fun. Keep an eye on this girl, she has what it takes! That runup is definitely not "kid-friendly" but Ashley managed to run it well enough, this was the first time she's had to shoulder her bike. This week I've been doing a lo...
