人不是因為衰老才停止跑步，而是因為停止跑步才衰老 - Jack Kirk. 10 January, 2013. 逛書店時看到一本書「 一個旅人，16張餐桌. 12301;， 作者是張健芳，圓神出版， 封面挺漂亮的，立刻吸引了我的目光。可是並不會想仔細看裡頭的文章， 因為書名讓我以為是一本美食指南， 這類文章多如牛毛，我又不熱衷食物，所以這本書並不在我的書單之中。 不過，後來我太太想要開一門飲食文學的課，覺得此書有用， 而網路書店剛好有二手書，於是就入手了。 細讀了幾篇文章，才發現是一本好書， 書本著墨的重點在於食物背後的文化，而不是美味與否。 舉例來說，蜜月旅行的國家是德奧捷，那時我就很好奇為什麼許多地方都在賣沙威馬 (原名是 Kebab)， 讀了書中「德國餐桌：沙威馬小販的古董淘金熱」 其中一小段之後就知道 Kebab 的來歷了。 書中還有許多可愛的故事，如西班牙的佛朗明哥舞夢、德國沙威馬小販的古董淘金熱， 但我覺得最有價值的部分在於作者對於旅行中所見事物的思維。 讀了「哥倫比亞餐桌：香蕉的百年孤寂嘉年華」之後， 我才了解馬奎斯的 百年孤寂. 拉丁美洲諸國幾百年來，土地資產極度集中在少數...

Monday, October 31, 2005. 實驗室那臺新電腦本來是裝 windows XP，可是每次開機都不能很順利的進入作業系統，每次都要使用 還原. 才可以使用電腦，這個問題一直沒有辦法解決，於是今天我就狠下心來，要捨 windows XP 而就 windows 2000了。 抓了 windows 2000 的 ISO 檔燒錄到光碟片上 (IP 開頭不是 140.117 的不能抓)，然後就開始安裝了，安裝過程非常順利，一開始裝完作業系統之後，因為顯示卡晶片是 ATI 的，而 windows 2000 沒有內建驅動 (windows XP 好像就有內建)， 我就裝顯示卡的驅動程式，然後再裝主機板所提供的驅動程式 (網路卡、音效卡)，然後在設定完這臺電腦的 IP 之後，就立刻受到 Sasser. 利用 google 大神找到的方法是安裝一個 patch. 問題是我要安裝這個 patch 的時候，網站要求我要更新到 sp2 或者以上，可是我只要一連上網路， lsass.exe 就會產生錯誤啊! 我查到防堵 link spam 的方法是啟用 字詞驗證.
