Home away from home. Sunday, December 30, 2007. As you know, at this point it takes cement (lots of it) time to dry. I figure probably 3 to 6 months to fully cure to where it will be safe to fire it up. You are probably wondering why the cement has to be dry? Well, from what I learned from my research you can't have heat to wet cement because it drys out to fast and cracks. On the other hand if you put extreme heat to wet cement it will probably explode or pop. (Dangerous! Tuesday, December 25, 2007.

Wednesday, June 9, 2010. I just had to share these pictures. I was driving down the road and saw a small crowd of people and a fire engine and wondered what was going on so I stopped and pulled out my camera. The fireman was climbing up to the top of the telephone pole and everyone was looking so worried. I couldn't see a person stuck up there, or anything strange hanging from the pole or telephone lines, but he grabbed. And came back down the ladder. Know what it was? It really made my day!

Sunday, January 9, 2011. Such a sweet face! He loves the camera. He likes to say hello. And he's very tall. I could not live with that any longer. I advertised Dizzy on KSL.com and a very nice man came to meet him. Dizzy usually hates everyone, but he really liked this guy. Even when he came back the next day to pick him up, Dizzy didn't even bark. He lives alone, is recently retired and looking for a companion. He also has horses! Dizzy will love running with them.
