https://viavhs.wordpress.com/2016/10/13/star-wars-rogue-one-trailer-2
Movies, TV, Blog, Podcast, YouTube. Star Wars: Rogue One Trailer #2! That’s the prevailing feeling I got from the new Rogue One trailer! In this the presumably final trailer for Rogue One, the team at LucasFilm have started to peal back a few layers on the story. We get a glimpse into the origins of Jyn Erso, and for the first time we see her father Galen Erso and how is relationship with the empire has changed both of their lives. New poster for Rogue One. NEW TRAILER FOR ROGUE ONE. You are commenting u...

Movies, TV, Blog, Podcast, YouTube. Courtesy IMDb: In the near future, a weary Logan cares for an ailing Professor X in a hide out on the Mexican border. But Logan’s attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young mutant arrives, being pursued by dark forces. A whirling dervish of violence set as a grounded neo-western, with a splash of Mad Max dystopia. No two ways about it, I absolutely loved Logan. Not only offers a potential finality to the Wolverine story but also Hugh Jackm...

Power Rangers Trailer | VIA VHS
https://viavhs.wordpress.com/2016/10/10/power-rangers-trailer
Movies, TV, Blog, Podcast, YouTube. Should our bar really be that high? I mean of course The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers was fun when you were a kid. But was it really that great? Bad acting, weird and predictable plots, aesthetically odd and more cheese than Wisconsin. Sure I loved the Power Rangers, but does the mythos really give you enough to work with? NEW POWER RANGERS TRAILER. I liked that the Rangers were actually Morphin’. I also liked that these little bastards who are going to be the Power Ra...

Han Solo film moving to December 2018? | VIA VHS
https://viavhs.wordpress.com/2017/01/03/han-solo-film-moving-to-december-2018
Movies, TV, Blog, Podcast, YouTube. Han Solo film moving to December 2018? The first six Star Wars films were all released in the month of May, an unofficial tradition that eventually led to May 4th being named Star Wars day, an unofficial holiday. Of course saying May the Fourth be with you is also very ‘punny’ which may have something to do with it. To the two highest grossing films of all time! Was just as fortunate, usurping both James Cameron juggernauts domestically and falling short of just Avatar.

Movies, TV, Blog, Podcast, YouTube. The Mummy: Trailer Review. TRAILER FOR THE MUMMY. Not that any of this is a bad thing. In fact I’m a huge fan of 3 out of 5 of the Mission Impossible films (1 and 2 are just meh). Of course this isn’t Mission Impossible 6,. It’s The Mummy. The first entry in Universal’s new shared universe centered around Gods and Monsters. Technically The Mummy. The main antagonist is to be played by Sofia Boutella, who was a standout from earlier this in Star Trek: Beyond. You can fi...

Movies, TV, Blog, Podcast, YouTube. VIA VHS: Most Anticipated Films of Holidays 2016. So without further ado, here are VIA VHS’s most anticipated films of 2016! This is a film we here at VIA VHS have been looking to for a long time. The trailer for Doctor Strange shows off a potentially visual spectacle that makes that IMAX 3D ticket worth the price while the story adds another layer to the already impressive Marvel Cinematic Universe. Be the catalyst for the much speculated Mel Gibson renaissance? Court...

Movies, TV, Blog, Podcast, YouTube. New Trailer For LOGAN. Is said to be Hugh Jackman’s final appearance as iconic X-Men character Wolverine, and based on this final trailer it seems Jackman is poised to shine in this R-rated standalone. Patrick Stewart also stars in his final appearance as Professor X and Daphne Keen debuts as the long anticipated X23. Seems content and comfortable being a Hard R rated film, and after the success of it’s R-rated comic book predecessor. Our voices crack with excitement, ...

Movies, TV, Blog, Podcast, YouTube. The Defenders at NYCC! Love it or hate it, Luke Cage. Was and is Marvel’s latest hit on Netflix, following two seasons of the wildly popular Daredevil. And the oddly satisfying Jessica. Luke Cage, while garnering more mixed reviews than it’s Marvel/Netflix counterparts, did its job and delivered and entertaining show that not only strengthened the Marvel TV universe but crashed Netflix’s servers upon release due to overwhelming demand. And presumably Luke Cage,. Anothe...
