Desha's trip to turkey! Friday, November 6, 2009. A few observations for now. The cars are america style with the driver being on the left. The roads are american style with the direction the traffic goes. Drivers typically use the lane they are supposed to be in and ive been impressed with use of signals when merging, i was expecting near death experiences like in the philippines but its been pretty uneventful, it is crazier than in the states, but not all that bad. They love their bread in turkey.

Desha's trip to turkey! Monday, December 14, 2009. Was it a dream? Ive been home for almost one week now, i have yet to unpack or unroll my carpets. It seems like a dream. i look at the pictures. All 4000 of them (i still have to load 875 pictures from my istanbul trip) i wonder to myself, was i really there? Did i really see that? Did i really do that?
