Through God's GRACE we have HOPE in our Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior. Sunday, January 31, 2010. Yesterday we celebrated DD’s 7th birthday! We kept it really simple with just family and one little friend. DD wanted a chocolate Barbie cake with pink frosting. It turned out really well and tasted SOOOO good! For her party, DD had two requests:. 1) She wanted to go a book store. 2) She wanted to go ice skating. We could take care of both requests at the mall so off we went. Shopped for just the right book.

Uncle Mark told her that if she fell asleep before midnight that she would turn into a FROG. She was obviously not too concerned. Doodlebug, however, made it until the final countdown. She's just not the ribbiting kind. LOL. Wednesday, December 22, 2010. December is almost over and this is my FIRST post! I've got to do better!

Her actual birthday was on Friday, July 30th. The celebration started with a trip to the donut store. DB picked a pink donut with sprinkles on top and the clerk added a few extra donut holes just because it was her b-day! Doodlebug even got a special gift from her hibiscus plant. Tuesday, June 14, 2011. Well, instead of trying to get caught up on 4 months of activities, I'm just going to start where we are now. SpicyGirl has completed 2nd grade. What a year. This little girl never ceases to amaze me. She has her own way about everything! We have lots going on this summer. Chinese school, a trip to Alaska, camp. After watching the butterflies and ladybugs change from larvae to full grown insects, it was time to release them back into nature. DD and DB enjoyed this part as much as watching them go through the stages of their lives. This year, we tried our hand at gardening. Here's a picture of our garden.
