The ravens (it is believed that if the ravens leave the Tower, the Tower will fall); and. The view offered when Tower Bridge lifted.

Monday, April 17, 2006. Mega Wale of a Time! Drama's were to follow as Google Maps gave us incorrect directions to the hotel. Not to be outdone, LastMinute.com also listed the hotel phone number of a different hotel and after calling for directions we arrived at the wrong hotel. Finally after a couple of hours of walking around the "hood" of Cardiff we managed to locate our hotel and check in. Posted by Lou @ 9:54 pm. Saturday, April 01, 2006. To top the weekend off, first class tickets that we somehow managed dirt cheap for the trip home to London. Wine, cheese, mousse, bread, some veal and big comfy seats, that’s what this weekend was all about! And of course the 20 minute channel tunnel. Posted by Lou @ 10:04 pm. We have finally moved into our own place. YES!

Thursday, May 04, 2006. Stupendous, Stunning Scotland. Friday 28th April sparked the beginning of another long weekend (May Day Holiday) so we packed our bags for Edinburgh, Scotland. With our flight delayed an hour and a queue for the rental car we arrived late at our hotel in the country's capital. At night the castle is lit up so beautifully, so our tripods and camera's a go-go, off we went to capture this fabulous landmark. Posted by Lou @ 10:05 pm. Old robertpenridge.com site.

Wednesday, February 22, 2006. Last Friday 17th February we spoilt ourselves with a tour to Lacock, Bath and Stonehenge. It was an early morning for us (we were up before Star and Kris) but the weather was fabulous and the day was filled with sight seeing galore. Obvious highlights included Stonehenge, the Roman Baths at Bath, and Bath itself. At the Roman Baths we had an opportunity to taste the natural hot water which the springs / baths are famous for - 1 word - YUCK! Posted by Lou @ 6:55 pm. Hinking h...

Exploring the intersection of design and code. Introducing the Android UI Utilities project (beta). About a month ago, I tweeted. A link to a teaser video. That showed off an Android icon generation tool I was building. The goal of the tool was to simplify Android icon creation for developers that don’t have access to design resources. Today, I’m happy to make this and a few other tools available as part of the new Android UI Utilities. Open source project. Included are the Android Asset Studio. Is being...
