Actors cast in our productions come from all walks of life. The Oyster Mill Playhouse, located in East Pennsboro Township on the banks of the Conodoguinet Creek, is home to our company, the Metropolitan Repertory Company, Inc. (Met Rep). Met Rep is a non-profit community theatre organization. Sharon Hillegas, Michael Hillegas, Anita Shultz, Gary Bloom and Dorothy Kovalchik founded our volunteer organization in 1976. It was incorporated in 1978. The first show performed at the Church was SUMMERTREE. Which was followed by BAREFOOT IN THE PARK. UNDER THE YUM YUM TREE.

Benefits (Private Performances)

In addition to our public performances, Oyster Mill Playhouse stages Private Performances for each of our productions. What is a Private Performance? We sell our 91-seat house to an organization and they sell the tickets. And, if they choose, they can hold a reception in our lobby before the show, during intermission, or after the performance. We provide a sample poster and printed tickets, and even supplies paper products, punch bowls, coffee pots and tables for the reception. At the Playhouse for 2015?

Membership

Membership dues are only $10 a year. The Membership Year is the same as the Calendar Year (January - December). Current year dues are waived for Members who join after October 1st and the $10 paid is applied to dues for the following Membership Year.
