Wednesday, September 12, 2007. My piece below is titled "Travelling through the eyes of a child." How did the whole idea and story come about? In this piece of work, a small boy holding on to a kite is walking on the surface of the globe while a ballon flies nearby. The kite and balloon signifies the innocence and the carefree nature of a child. The landmarks along the surface of the globe represents the different countries and their different buildings, structures and cultures. My style and hers-Fusion.

Wednesday, September 12, 2007. My style and hers-Fusion. How is this work in any way a fusion of my style and Kate Spade’s? These works display my contrasting and bright use of colours (While her fashion designs are cheery, Kate Spade uses mainly pastel colours in her illustrations). In terms of colours, I often use vivid colours with dark strokes contrasting with few lighter strokes. In addition, bright colours like red, yellow and orange are often used. Tuesday, September 11, 2007. I think that my works suggest that my style would be drawing with clean-cut lines and using lots of different colours to add on to the drawing. Judging from my 3d art fundamentals models, i believe that my style in that area would be towards the abstract arts. Monday, September 3, 2007. OUTstanding - 2D Art Fundamentals. Crime Zone (Signage) - Ideation 2. Fast Food (Signage) - Ideation 2. Fast food sign. i coloured the background green to signify the meaning of a traffic light flashing the green light when it was time to cars to GO. so i relate GO to the fast speed of the car. i then draw a hamburger (a representative of fast food) on the area where the green light is supposed to be to really signify FAST FOOD.
