The revisions | Art 524

https://mrsgibson.wordpress.com/2006/11/13/the-revisions

It ’s what i think about. November 13, 2006. Well, this weekend I’ve had a migraine and the flu, so I wasn’t as productive as I would have liked to have been. However, I’ve been thinking about my user tests and what I should be taking from them. I think one of my largest problems is how the locks are added to the system. I think at this point there are three possible solutions:. PROBLEM: the lock couldn’t be reprogrammed after it has been installed–is this an issue? Will they be able to open the lock?

Handbag security | Art 524

https://mrsgibson.wordpress.com/2006/10/14/handbag-security

It ’s what i think about. October 14, 2006. In my quest to determine how small the device can be, I found this. I don’t think that it’s really worth having the scanner on something like that, but it’s interesting nonetheless. 2 Responses to “Handbag security”. October 15, 2006 at 9:52 pm. Not that you need help with your prototyping, but I am just doing some researching and saw this and thought some of the pictures may be inspirational for you:. https://mrsgibson.wordpress.com/2006/09

It ’s what i think about. September 26, 2006. Http:/ www.nokey.com/corchipreadu.html. This is good idea. The corby chip can be attached to any smooth surface (i.e. ID cards, badges, etc.). It works for 17 or fewer users. I think that this is a good start. One chip works for only one lock though so it doesn’t eliminate any bulk per se. But it seems to be a good system. Galvanic skin response | Art 524

It ’s what i think about. October 17, 2006. I watched the Mythbusters episode where they test the fingerprint scanner and thought it might be nice for my scanner to also test body temperature, pulse rate, and galvanic skin response. I don’t know if these are necessary, or this is early feature creep, so let me know what you guys think. 2 Responses to “Galvanic skin response”. October 17, 2006 at 2:38 am. Chapter 7 DOET | Art 524

https://mrsgibson.wordpress.com/2006/10/23/chapter-7-doet

It ’s what i think about. October 23, 2006. Based on the needs and interests of the user with an emphasis on making products usable and understandable. Make it easy to determine what actions are possible at any moment (make use of constraints). Make things visible, including the conceptual model of the system, the alternative actions, and the results of actions. Basically, make sure the user can figure out what to do, and what is going on. Easy looking doesn’t equal easy to use. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

October 15, 2006. 8212; tarannum @ 4:20 pm. Art of Innovation – Ch 11. Definitely. Its similar to what we read last time the water is rising! When the author talks about the manufacturer of the aerodynamic car and how they could not test it, it seemed quite odd. You are running for a race and you don’t even test your product once. Design for Change Blog: Designing change for the world

Design for Change Blog. Changing the Way We Write. March 5, 2015. We all want to see changes in society, from the underpaid Walmart employee to the overpaid CEO to the consumerist teenager who thinks he has to buy some new gadget. But what we rarely want to admit is that these kind of cultural changes require effort and time to change. These systems are set in place and have been ingrained into our culture for decades and they are hard to unlearn. If we can speak in ways that sound appealing to a large e...
