This bride had 2 separate invitiations, one for the actual ceremony - which was very small - and another for the large reception they are going to have after their honeymoon! Helpful Dates to Know: . I found this timeline from TKG this morning and found it very helpful! It is typically recommended ordering and mailing your Save the Dates 6-12 months before your wedding. Invitations should be ordered 4-6 months prior to the big day and mailed approximately 8 weeks before (6 weeks is sometimes sufficient.) Programs, menus, place cards and table cards should be ordered 3-6 weeks before your wedding. 8 months before- create your wedding website. Tuesday, October 25, 2011.
