Sunday, October 12, 2008. The other day brandon and i did two long hikes into the wilderness of lassen. It was perfect, the weather couldnt have been better, it was one of the most beautiful days ive ever seen. Lassen is one of my favorite places to go. It is an active volcanoe, so first we hiked to the top where you can look inside and see the boiling water and sulfurite lava-a must see! It's amazing how it works! So rebellious.i know! You can see the sulfur flow in the background. We named him chip).
