Friday, September 23, 2011. I spent most of my day yesterday coming up with centerpiece ideas for my kitchen table. It didn't take long to figure out what I wanted to do because A) I'm on a budget. And if I weren't I would bargain shop because I'm all about it! And B) I want everything Pottery Barn. If I could order the entire store, I would. Inspiration that I drool over every time I get the catalogue:. Isn't it just magnificent? It makes me happy just looking at it, ahhh! Notice my little buddies in th...

By Watermark, one of my all time favorites. So I decided to revisit all of our music. Well, not a good idea when you're already missing your husband a lot. This opened the flood gates today. Peonies (pee-un-ees) are my absolute favorite flower and they smell A-MAZ-ING, heaven scent (pun intended)! Did you know that roses are in such high demand for v-day that some wholesalers and florists mark them up by 400% and sometimes more just on this special day! Next Valentine's Day, try some peonies, tulips or even hydrangea! Enjoy the arrangement yours truly.

Thursday, September 29, 2011. I wanted to give y'all a few updates. Remember. The pumpkin pancake recipe? Well, here they are. I must say, they were yummy! I tricked my husband into liking them, which is not something that I am able to do often. I made, plated, buttered and smothered them in syrup so he wouldn't notice the nice orange coloring. I was wrong, he did. D: "Is there something different about these pancakes? K: "No, why? D: "They just look a little different.". K: "Hmm, I don't know.". Since w...

Thursday, March 10, 2011. Home Away From Home. As you may have read in my last post, our house was out of. For about 5 days. David and I spent the weekend in. We already had intentions of going out there to play at the farm so it kind of worked out. Well, it was cold and the farm is no fun when it's cold, so on Saturday my husband was the greatest husband in the world, as always, and we browsed around The Square in. He went into every store with me and that is unheard of! The things you do for love :).
